Commission Work
Imagine a piece of art that is not just seen, but felt—something that adds a personal touch to your space and invites conversation. Each piece Chris creates is more than just a painting; it's a personal expression crafted to your specifications.
The Commission Process
Step 1:
Let Chris know what your vision is for the painting, provide any specific requests and reference images. Chris will then let you know if this is something he can create for you.
Step 2:
Chris will send you an invoice to pay a $1000 deposit and then will then create a sketch of the artwork for your approval.
Step 3:
Chris will create the artwork and then send you a photo once completed. Keep in mind there will be no more input or changes to the artwork at this stage
Step 4:
Chris will send you a photo of the finished artwork for your approval, at this stage you can request slight changes if needed.
Step 5:
Pay the remaining balance and Chris will varnish the artwork, which is a protective layer.
Step 6:
Chris will organise for your artwork to be delivered to you.

All canvas and frames are made locally so any size is possible.
Chris does have standard sizes that he creates on which are:
- 80 x 105cm - $3000

- 234 x 154cm - $10,000
- 285 x 160cm - $14,750

Chris only does two commissions per month, so the earlier you books in, the better. However, at the time of inquiry, Chris will let you know when his next availability is.
All artworks are acrylic on canvas, framed in oak.
The minimum size for a commission piece is 80 x 100cm. No Maximum, anything is possible.
When Chris has finished the commission, he will send you a photo. At this point, you will have a chance to make any requests for slight changes before the Chris varnishes and delivers the artwork.
Upon inquiry, an estimated completion date will be provided.
A deposit of $1000 is required to secure a spot. The remaining balance will be due on completion
No, Chris will only show the final piece once he has finished the painting.
If there are many specific requests, the artist may create a basic sketch to illustrate the composition. However, if the client provides a general theme or concept, the artist typically proceeds to create the artwork directly, especially if its recreating an artwork that he has already completed but just with changes.
